Transformation outerwear collection is a postgraduate project which is inspired from explosions and mushroom clouds. By using these shapes, new texture and huge shapes are made. Blending with nature elements and similar huge and puffy shapes natural elements trees and jelly fishes are also integrated. In addition to these inspirations, organic shaped buildings and architectural pieces are also used to create new shapes and pattern cuts. they are all tried in photoshop as a part of garment.
PROCESS OF A GARMENT
After some minimilising the puffy shape and texture, architectural elements, a ceiling in King Cross train station, lead the collection to create a 3D pleating. After some trials on photoshop and experiments on dummy a structural jacket crearted by using the pleating parts bottom of the waist line. To create conti- nuity top part of the jacket stitchings are used as the same measurement of pleating width.
